What do you charge?
Every project we create is unique and so we don’t set any of our rates in stone, preferring instead to offer our ideas plus an indication of fee to get the conversation started. If budgets don’t match up, we’ll help find other ways to make the project work.

Are you musicians too?
One half of TallWall Media holds a degree in music, studies the classical guitar with Carlos Bonell and largely ignores the violin sitting under the bed (a good thing, trust me). We approach each edit using our knowledge of and passion for music, looking to create the right pace and structure for your story. The other half of the team was a highly respected vocal manager at a leading London agency. Well known to key promoters throughout the UK and Europe, we retain strong links with many of the industry’s artistic decision-makers and are uniquely placed to advise artists on the strategic goals for their new promotional tools.

I’m just starting out in the music industry – how important is it to have film material?
In our experience, film has become one of the top three most important considerations when assessing the quality of a new artist. Alongside your talent at your chosen instrument and the recommendations of peers/contacts you have made, being able to direct key industry figures to high quality promotional footage is vital to unlocking doors and securing that all-important audition. In addition to allowing busy managers and casting directors to easily assess your abilities, having your own Youtube channel with high quality content indicates your willingness to invest in your career. This vital ingredient is often what sets emerging artists apart – which is, in itself, an important objective in an increasingly crowded market.

I hate giving interviews on camera. Does this mean I shouldn’t consider commissioning a film?
Not many people enjoy giving interviews on camera but this important element of your film needn’t cause undue added stress. There are many ways of telling your story and we work to create the best scenario for getting the right messages across. We tend to avoid the formal interview format in favour of a more relaxed conversational approach. Whatever is right for communicating your personality and ideas.

How tall are you?
6 foot 4 (and a half!) inches.
